We stand before You, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in Your name.
With You alone to guide us, make Yourself at home in our hearts; Teach us the way we must go and how we are to pursue it.
We are weak and sinful; do not let us promote disorder. Do not let ignorance lead us down the wrong path nor partiality influence our actions.
Let us find in You our unity so that we may journey together to eternal life and not stray from the way of truth and what is right.
All this we ask of You, who are at work in every place and time, in the communion of the Father and the Son, forever and ever.
Amen.

Young People Demand Change- Cafod Campaign
Together with CAFOD our school have been campaigning and acting on making positive changes to our world. The Cafod- 'Young People Demand Change' campaign has allowed the whole school to think carefully about calling out injustice in the world and we have started to act upon it, especially when considering the environment.
The whole school took park in an environmental assembly with lots of information about reducing our waste, recycling and re-using items, this was inspired by Laudato Si' (please see the prayers and resources on this link below). From this each class went forth and made environmental pledges; for example, year two are going to take part in a litter pick, whilst they are on their school trip at Joss Bay, Year R are going to be planting tomato seeds, the Nursery made a bug hotel and many more promises were made. A pledge book was created and placed on display for the whole school to enjoy.
We hope that if we all work as a team, we can as the Pope has told us, share 'Our Common Home'. Thank you for the Eco-team for presenting such a moving and motivational liturgical prayer.
